When I was eleven years old I used to be head over heels with Willow and Oz as a couple, thinking I had a crush on Oz. When Oz left, I still couldn’t let go of Willow. I hate how Willow was all of the sudden portrayed as a lesbian. She was in love with Oz before she was in love with Tara. I feel like calling her a lesbian totally cancels out her past relationship with Oz, a man who she was so clearly in love with.

I’ve always been torn when it comes to the Willow/Oz and Willow/Tara relationships. Being a lesbian myself, I love how they potrayed Willow’s and Tara’s relationship, and I think they were amazing together, but I still think that Willow/Oz was the cutest couple in the entire series.

I don’t think Willow was gay exactly, she was more bi-sexual. She had long term, committed, romantic (and sexual) relationships with both men and women.
