I don’t ship anyone, but I have to laugh when people say that Bangel is just an idealized romance and Spuffy was more “real” because it took more time for them to get together. There’s nothing more unrealistic than a bad man changing his ways out of love for a girl. It’s the ultimate wish fulfillment fantasy. Even James Marsters said that they were perpetuating a lie.

I think it would have been more of a trip if Dawn had been there the entire time and THEN we find out she was fake and they had flashbacks of the “REAL” memories that Dawn isn’t in.

I’m probably way too overly fond of Giles and Oz. They just remind me of my best friends. The characters are real and grounded and the actors are extremely talented. For Seth Green, King of Comedy, to remain so stoic was amazing to me.

I think Bangel shippers are just too blind to see how real Spuffy is, just like Buffy was.
