I always felt strangely dissapointed that Giles didn’t show up at Xander and Anya’s wedding.

I find it ironic that so many people hate Xander for leaving Anya at the alter, but no one seems to realize that afterward, Anya actually wanted to torture him and even tried to make it so that he was never born. I don’t care how hurt you are; no one has the right to use their power over another person in an attempt to physically or mentally maim them.

I understand why Xander left Anya. But he had horrible timing, and it killed me to see Anya heartbroken.

I didn’t start appreciating Anya as more than comic-relief until Xander left her at the alter.

I tried, but I was never able to forgive Xander for leaving Anya at the alter.
