A CONFESSION FROM THE STAFF: 

Dear Followers,

We honestly apologize for the last couple of days, and we will be going back to honest confessions now, but there was a reason we did this.

Since day one, we have gotten more hate than true confessions, and we have repeatedly asked that people send in more personal or thoughtful confessions.  Some of you did make honest and personal confessions, and as I read each and every one of the submissions, I could feel that you were sharing something special with me.  To you individuals, we are honestly and sincerely sorry for the past couple of days, because I know that this was a place for you to open up, and we turned it into a joke.  For that we really are sorry.

But those people were vastly outnumbered by the amount of hateful and stupid and crappy confessions that just kept pouring in.  Yesterday after about the 2,000 submission I had just had it.  I just could not take it anymore.  I was the second person to join this blog because I wanted to be the impartial judge who made sure that this blog stayed true to what we wanted it to be, a place to confess love for the series.  But that wasn’t what we were getting.  I’m the only member of this blog who reads all of the submissions, and I took that seriously.  I spent five hours that first day going through all of them, and by the end of that first night, I was so sickened by how much hate was being directed not just at the characters and the show, but at us for posting things.  I was ready to quit, but I knew how hard it was for me to be completely unbiased with my choice of which confessions got through, and I didn’t want to see it get worse.  I was already too invested, and the idea of anyone not doing the best job they could made me almost as mad as the crap that was being submitted.  So I stayed on.  And I was so disgusted with what continued to be sent in, even after we asked for changes, that I was emotionally and physically sick for several days.  Finally yesterday all of us at this blog had just had it and so we just let the trolls loose.  What you have gotten over the past two days are a mix of our own trolling confessions, REAL confessions that people sent in that I really don’t think were supposed to be trolling, and a few honest confessions that we are honestly and truly sorry got mixed in.  THAT is what our submissions look like every single time we open them up, and usually in that extensive volume as well.  We wanted you to know that we are doing our best here and that we are REALLY trying to run this blog in a way where anyone can enjoy it, but with submissions like the ones we get, it’s been fairly close to impossible.

So we are sorry, but we’ve had enough.  We’re done trolling all of you, and we’re going back to real confessions, but we will be letting less submissions through.  If you don’t follow our guidelines (read the FAQ), don’t read past posts to know if your submission has been sent in before, or can’t form a proper sentence, I’m just going to delete it.  Because we get WAY too many submissions for me to put up with everyone’s crap anymore.

PS: The cell phone one, by the way, is my favorite honest confessions because I’m convinced it had to be sent in by either a troll or a twelve year old who can’t comprehend that even just six years ago NOT EVERYONE HAD A CELL PHONE, and for once, no I’m not sorry if you’re offended because that was just stupid.  It was submitted days ago and I’m STILL laughing at you, Anon.
