Whenever I see someone comment about how the Slayer is supposed to be the only person standing against the demons and vampires according to prophecy and how that doesn’t happen and it’s not explained or whatever, I get so annoyed. Buffy is different from every other Slayer in the past in many ways, but mostly in that she lets other people know about her duties and help her, which no other Slayer has done because the Council frowned upon it. Hence, the prophesy saying “She alone will stand…”
