One of the reasons why I can’t ship Briley is because even when she knew her sister might be killed by a god and her mom had a brain tumor, she couldn’t cry in front of him. She waited until she was alone. I think that this is proof that she didn’t love him, because she couldn’t allow herself to be weak in front of him. She’d rather suffer alone than accept his comfort.
